While attending Princeton University, Gilbert received his A.B. in Economics. He then earned his MBA in Marketing and Sales Management at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Prior to Keegan & Coppin, Gilbert worked for Standard Packaging Corporation as Sales Manager. After that he began his real estate career. Working with residential real estate and management for Valley of the Moon Realty, Terrace Properties, and Polley, Polley & Madsen.
In 1985, Gilbert joined the Keegan & Coppin Commercial Real Estate team. His area of specialization is industrial and office leasing, and investments.
